
(Project Manager) Heather oversees the daily functions of the health-evidence.ca website, maintaining the web content and ensuring the health-evidence.ca registry of systematic reviews is updated quarterly. Since 2007 she has worked with the health-evidence team to search for, test for relevance, and quality assess relevant systematic reviews to be added to the registry. Since 2009 Heather has been working to expand Health Evidence’s social media presence on sites such as Twitter, YouTube, SlideShare and Delicious with the aim of sharing knowledge and resources between and among practitioners, researchers, and intermediaries. Heather also participates in special projects and research activities as needed.
(Administrative Director) Kara works closely with Maureen Dobbins and the investigative team to conduct several research projects related to knowledge transfer and exchange, specifically its application in promoting evidence-informed practice in public health decision making. She led the process of locating, relevance testing, keywording and quality assessment of reviews, in addition to summarizing review evidence and methodology in the development of health-evidence.ca. Kara holds a clinical faculty appointment and co-tutors a McMaster University School of Nursing course on research methods and quality assessment for primary studies and systematic review literature.

(Knowledge Broker) Lori Greco holds a Master of Health Science from the University of Toronto and has over 15 years experience in health promotion and knowledge translation. In the inaugural Knowledge Translation Branch at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Lori participated in the national consultation and contributed to CIHR's first Knowledge Translation Strategic Plan. She was a leader in evidence-informed public health practice during her tenure at the Region of Peel Public Health Department. In her role as Knowledge Broker, based at McMaster University, Lori currently leads initiatives to improve evidence-informed policy and public health decision-making for the Policy Liaison Office of the Canadian Cochrane Centre, and for Health Evidence.

(Research Coordinator) Daiva received her Master of Science in Health Studies and Gerontology from the University of Waterloo (2011) and Honours Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology and Health Studies from McMaster University (2008). She has worked part-time at Health Evidence as a research assistant since 2002 and joined the staff full-time in April 2011 as a research coordinator. Daiva is primarily involved with the Canadian Institute for Health Research (CIHR) Meetings, Planning, and Dissemination Grant to develop and tailor a series of webcasts and online discussion forums to support evidence-informed decision making in public health. As well as coordinating the development of synthesizing review evidence for the Population Health Improvement Research Network (PHIRN) on community-based diet and nutrition, built environments, and social determinants of health. Daiva also assists on other projects as needed.

(Research Assistant), is currently exploring undergraduate Psychology courses while between years of McMaster University's Midwifery Education Program. Lyndsey joined health-evidence.ca in May 2007 following her participation in a 'Research Methods and Critical Appraisal' course run by the School of Nursing and taught by Dr. Maureen Dobbins. In addition to issues of maternal and child health, Lyndsey is interested in advocating for evidence-informed practice/policy and highlighting the importance of social determinants of health. She contributes to Health Evidence through website maintenance, writing of summary statements, and the process of searching for, retrieving and quality assessing review articles for the online registry.

(Research Assistant/Coordinator), joined the Health Evidence team in May 2010. She earned a Masters of Science in Neuroscience in 2009 and a Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2007, both from McMaster University. Robyn is primarily involved with a Partnerships in Health Systems Improvement (PHSI) grant, funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), to study the impact of knowledge translation and exchange strategies on evidence-informed decision making in Ontario health units. Robyn also contributes to other team projects and tasks as needed.
